1-7 奇跡への衝動の歪み Distortions of Miracle Impulses

あなたの歪んだ（自我に基づいた）知覚は、奇跡（≒赦しによって自我の見方ではない魂本来の見方に移行すること）をおこなうのに役だつ衝動を密度の高いおおいで包み込み、その衝動を自覚しにくくしている。
Your distorted perceptions produce a dense cover over miracle impulses, making it hard for them to reach your own awareness.

奇跡への衝動と肉体的衝動とを混同するのは知覚にともなう主な歪みである。
The confusion of miracle impulses with physical impulses is a major perceptual distortion.

肉体的衝動は奇跡への衝動が誤って指図されたものといえる。
Physical impulses are misdirected miracle impulses.

本当の喜びはすべて、神の意志を行うことからくる。
All real pleasure comes from doing God's will.

というのも、それを行わないでおくと本来の自己を否認することになるからである。
This is because not doing it is a denial of self.

本来の自己を否認すれば錯覚を引き起こすわけだが、そうした誤りを訂正することで錯覚から解放される。
Denial of self results in illusions, while correction of the error brings release from it.

外面的なものごとで、神やきょうだいたちと平安のうちに心を通わせられるとなど、自分をだまして信じこまないように。
Do not deceive yourself into believing that you can relate in peace to God or to your brothers with anything external.



神の子供よあなたが創造されたのは、善なるもの、美しいもの、聖なるものを創造するためである。
Child of God, you were created to create the good, the beautiful and the holy.

これを忘れないように。
Do not forget this.

神の愛はいましばらく、からだとからだを通じて表現されなければならない。洞察力ではまだよく見えないのだから。
The love of God, for a little while, must still be expressed through one body to another, because vision is still so dim.

あなたは自分の知覚を広げるのを助けるためにからだを使うのが一番いいだろうし、そうすることで肉体の目では不可能な本当の洞察力による心像をみることができるようになる。
You can use your body best to help you enlarge your perception so you can achieve real vision, of which the physical eye is incapable.

こうすることを学ぶためにのみ、からだは本当に役立つのである。
Learning to do this is the body's only true usefulness.



（自我の）イメージは洞察力のゆがんだ形といえる。
Fantasy is a distorted form of vision.

どんな種類であれ、イメージされたことはゆがめられている。実在しないものを見ようと必然的にねじ曲げて知覚しようとするのがつねであるから。
Fantasies of any kind are distortions, because they always involve twisting perception into unreality.

ゆがんだものを因に行動するのは、文字どおり自分では何をしているのかわかっていない者たちがする反応のしかただといえる。
Actions that stem from distortions are literally the reactions of those who know not what they do.

イメージは間違った必要性にしたがって実在を制御しようとする試みである。
Fantasy is an attempt to control reality according to false needs.

どのようにであれ、実在をねじ曲げるなら、破壊的に知覚していることになる。
Twist reality in any way and you are perceiving destructively.

イメージは間違った連想をしておいて、それから快感を得ようとする手段。
Fantasies are a means of making false associations and attempting to obtain pleasure from them.

しかし、間違って連想したことを知覚できるとはいえ、それは自分自身にだけ本当のことにしておけるにすぎない。
But although you can perceive false associations, you can never make them real except to yourself.

あなたは自分で作るものを信じる。
You believe in what you make.

もしあなたが奇跡（≒赦しによって自我の見方ではない魂本来の見方に移行すること）をさしのべるとすれば、あなたの奇跡に対する信念も同様に強いものとなるであろう。
If you offer miracles, you will be equally strong in your belief in them.

そしてあなたの確信の強さが、奇跡を受け取る人の信念を支えることになる。
The strength of your conviction will then sustain the belief of the miracle receiver.

実在の本質が全面的に満足できるものだということが、与える者と受けとる者、その両方に明白となるにつれ、イメージなどことごとく必要ではなくなる。
Fantasies become totally unnecessary as the wholly satisfying nature of reality becomes appearent to both giver and receiver.

実在を「失った」のは権利を奪ったからであり、それがまた暴政をうみだすのである。
Reality is "lost" through usurpation, which produces tyranny.

ひとりでも（自我という幻想にとらわれた）「奴隷」が取り残されて地上を歩むかぎり、あなたは完全に解放されたとはいえない。
As long as a single "slave" remains to walk the earth, your release is not complete.

神の子としての身分にぞくする者たちをみんな（その本来在るところへと）復帰させること、これこそ奇跡（≒赦しによって自我の見方ではない魂本来の見方に移行すること）を行う気がある者にとって唯一の目標である。
Complete restoration of the Sonship is the only goal of the miracle-minded.



この奇跡のコースの教えは心を訓練するためのものである。
This is a course in mind training.

学ぶということはすべてある程度の注意力と絶えざる努力とを要する。
All learning involves attention and study at some level.

この学びの過程において、あとで出てくる部分は、はじめのほうの何節かにかなり重くもとづくので、ここを注意深く勉強するようにと要求せずにはいられない。
Some of the later parts of the course rest too heavily on these earlier sections not to require their careful study.

準備するためにもこれらの部分が必要である。
You will also need them for preparation.

それなしでは、後にでてくる部分で言わんとすることにあまりにも強い恐れを抱いて、前向きな気持ちでは受け入れられないかもしれない。
Without this, you may become much too fearful of what is to come to make constructive use of it.

ともかく最初の何節かを勉強するにつれて、後で詳しく説明されることをほのめかす点がいくつか目につきはじめるだろう。
However, as you study these earlier sections, you will begin to see some of the implications that will be amplified later on.



しっかりした基礎が必要である。それなしでは、私がすでに言及した恐れと畏敬の念とを混同してしまうことがありえるし、それはよくすることであるから。
A solid foundation is necessary because of the confusion between fear and awe to which I have already referred, and which is often made.

私がすでに述べたことだが、神の子たちのつながりにおいては畏敬の念をいだくのは適切ではない。なぜなら自分と等しいものの面前では畏敬の念を覚えるべきではないからである。
I have said that awe is inappropriate in connection with the Sons of God, because you should not experience awe in the presence of your equals.

しかし、あなたの創造主の前で畏敬の念を抱くのはふさわしいことだとも強調した。
However, it was also emphasized that awe is proper in the Presence of your Creator.

贖罪（≒自我の「分離」という間違った思い込みを聖霊によって取り消すこと、それを進める聖霊の計画）における私の役を大げさに言ったり控え目に言ったりすることなく、明らかにするようにと心がけてきた。
I have been careful to clarify my role in the Atonement without either over- or understating it.

またあなたの役についても同じようにしようと努めている。
I am also trying to do the same with yours.

我々は本来、平等だから、私にたいして畏敬の念をもつのは適当な反応ではないということを力説しておいた。
I have stressed that awe is not an appropriate reaction to me because of our inherent equality.

しかし、この奇跡のコースの教えの後のほうにでてくる段階では、もっとじかに神自身に近づくことが必然的となる。
Some of the later steps in this course, however, involve a more direct approach to God himself.

注意深く準備しないでこうした段階へと歩み始めるのは賢明とはいえない。さもないと、畏敬の念を恐れと混同してしまい、そうした経験は至福にみちた経験となるより精神的に傷を与えるものとなる。
It would be unwise to start on these steps without careful preparation, or awe will be confused with fear, and the experience will be more traumatic than beatific.

結局、癒しは神に属することである。
Healing is of God in the end.

そのための手段があなたのために念入りに説明してある。
The means are being carefully explained to you.

最後に行き着くところを、時には啓示が見せてくれるかもしれないが、そこへ到達するには手段というものを必要とするのである。
Revelation may occasionally reveal the end to you, but to reach it the means are needed.
