9-6 きょうだいを受け入れるとは The Acceptance of Your Brother

聖霊のもたらす結果以外に、どうやってあなたは自分のうちなる聖霊にだんだん気づけるようになるだろうか。
How can you become increasingly aware of the Holy Spirit in you except by His effects?

自分の目で聖霊を見ることはできないばかりか、耳で聞くこともできはしない。
You cannot see Him with your eyes nor hear Him with your ears.

ではどうして、かりにも聖霊を知覚できるだろうか。
How, then, can you perceive Him at all?

もしあなたが他の者たちに喜びの湧きあがる思いをさせ、その人たちがあなたにその喜びを示してくれるなら、たとえ自分自身なんの喜びも感じていないとしても、それを生み出せる何かがあなたのなかにあるに違いない。
If you inspire joy and others react to you with joy, even though you are not experiencing joy yourself there must be something in you that is capable of producing it.

その何かが自分のなかにあり、喜びを生み出せるし、そのうえもしそれが確かに他の者たちに喜びを感じさせているとわかるとすれば、あなたはその何かを自分自身のなかで解離させているに違いない。
If it is in you and can produce joy, and if you see that it does produce joy in others, you must be dissociating it in yourself.



聖霊は自分のなかに一貫して喜びを生じさせてくれないように思えるのは、ただあなたがほかの者たちのなかに、喜びを呼び起こさせることに徹していないからであるにすぎない。
It seems to you that the Holy Spirit does not produce joy consistently in you only because you do not consistently arouse joy in others.

ほかの者があなたに示す反応は、あなたが聖霊の一貫性をどう評価しているかをあらわす。
Their reactions to you are your evaluations of His consistency.

自分が首尾一貫していないなら、いつも喜びを生じさせるとは限らない。それで必ずしも聖霊の一貫性に気づかないということにもなる。
When you are inconsistent you will not always give rise to joy, and so you will not always recognise His consistency.

あなたは自分のきょうだいにささげるものを聖霊にささげている。聖霊はあなたのささげもの以上に与えられないのだから。
What you offer to your brother you offer to Him, because He cannot go beyond your offering in His giving.

これは聖霊が制限しながら与えるからではなくて、単にあなたが「自分でいくら受け取るかを制限している」からだ。
This is not because He limits His giving, but simply because you have limited your receiving.

『受け取ると決めることこそ、受け入れるという決心』といえる。
The decision to receive is the decision to accept.



もしあなたのきょうだいたちが自分の一部だとすれば、そのきょうだいたちを受け入れるだろうか。
If your brothers are part of you, will you accept them?

そのきょうだいたちだけがあなたが何なのか教えてくれる。あなたが学ぶのは、自分が何をそのきょうだいたちに教えたかという結果そのものであるから。
Only they can teach you what you are, for your learning is the result of what you taught them.

何かをそのきょうだいたちに求めると、あなたはそれを自分自身に要求していることになる。
What you call upon in them you call upon in yourself.

そしてその何かをきょうだいたちに求めるにつれて、それが自分にとって実在的なものになってくる。
And as you call upon it in them it becomes real to you.

神には御子（神の子）が一人あるにすぎない。あなたのきょうだいたちみんなを一つのものと分かっておられるのだから。
God has but one Son, knowing them all as one.

神自身だけがきょうだいたち以上のものだが、きょうだいたちは神に劣るものだというのではない。
Only God Himself is more than they but they are not less than He is.

これが何を意味するかわかるだろうか。
Would you know what this means?

もしあなたが私のきょうだいにすることは、私にしていることになり、そのうえもし、我々はあなたの一部なのだから、あなたはすべてのことを自分自身のためにしているのだとすれば、我々がすることはすべてあなたにぞくするということにもなる。
If what you do to my brother you do to me, and if you do everything for yourself because we are part of you, everything we do belongs to you as well.

神が創造したすべての者はあなたの大切な部分であり、あなたとともに神の栄光を分かち合う。
Everyone God created is part of you and shares His glory with you.

その栄光は神に属するのだが、それは同様にあなたのもの。
His Glory belongs to Him, but it is equally yours.

ではあなたの栄光に満つるすがたは、神のに劣るはずがないのである。
You cannot, then, be less glorious than He is.




神はあなた以上のものだというのは、ただ神があなたを創造したからだが、これさえも神はあなたにさせずにおこうとはしない。
God is more than you only because He created you, but not even this would He keep from you.

したがって、あなたは神がしたように創造できるし、自分でこのことを切り離して考えているとしても、それを変更することにはならない。
Therefore you can create as He did, and your dissociation will not alter this.

神の光のみならずあなたの光でさえ、自分には見えないからといっても、薄暗くなっているわけではない。
Neither God's Light nor yours is dimmed because you do not see.

神の子としての身分にある者は一つになって創造しなければならないのだから、あなたは創造の一部を認めるたびにその創造を思い出すことになる。
Because the Sonship must create as one, you remember creation whenever you recognise part of creation.

あなたが思い出す一つ一つの部分があなたの完全なすがたに加わる。というのもそれぞれの部分はまさに完全だからだ。
Each part you remember adds to your wholeness because each part is whole.

完全なすがたは分割できないものだが、あなたがその完全さをあらゆるところに見るようになるまでは自分の完全さがわからない。
Wholeness is indivisible, but you cannot learn of your wholeness until you see it everywhere.

あなたはただ神が神の子を知っているように自分自身を知ることができる。叡知を神と分かち合っているのだから。
You can know yourself only as God knows His Son, for knowledge is shared with God.

神のうちに目覚めたとき、神の無限のすがたを自分のものとして受け入れることによって、自分の重要性がわかってくる。
When you awake in Him you will know your magnitude by accepting His limitlessness as yours.

だがそのときまでは、あなたは自分のきょうだいの重要性に審きを下すように自分のも審き、きょうだいの重要性を受け入れる分だけ自分のも受け入れるだろう。
But meanwhile you will judge it as you judge your brother's, and will accept it as you accept his.



あなたはまだ目覚めていない。しかしどのようにして目覚めるかを学ぶことはできる。
You are not yet awake, but you can learn how to awaken.

聖霊はただほかの者たちを目覚めさせるようにとだけ、あなたに教える。
Very simply the Holy Spirit teaches you to awaken others.

その人たちが目覚めるのを見るにつれて、目覚めとは何を意味するのかを学ぶだろう。それにあなたがその人たちを目覚めさせることを選んだので、自分の与えたことにたいしてその人たちが感謝し、それの真価を認めているということが、あなたにそれの重要さを教えてくれる。
As you see them waken you will learn what waking means, and because you have chosen to wake them, their gratitude and their appreciation of what you have given them will teach you its value.

あなたが神の実在の証として創造されたように、その人たちはあなたが実在することをしめす証人となるだろう。
They will become the witnesses to your reality, as you were created witnesses to God's.

さらに、神の子としての身分にある者たちが一緒になり、その一つとなったすがたを受け入れるなら、そのすがたは神の子としての身分にある者たちに創造されたものに知られるようになり、そのように創造されたものは、神の子が父なる神の実在を証明しているように、その身分にある者たちの実在を証明するようになる。
Yet when the Sonship comes together and accepts its oneness it will be known by its creations, who witness to its reality as the Son does to the Father.



奇跡は永遠においては必要とされない。それは修復するためのものであるから。
Miracles have no place in eternity, because they are reparative.

けれどもあなたがまだ（真の）癒しを必要とするあいだは、あなたの奇跡（≒赦しによって単なる自我の投影を現実と錯覚していたのを取り消し、魂本来の見方で『本当の現実を見る』ことに移行すること）が、あなたは実在するということを自分で見分けられるという唯一の証明。
Yet while you still need healing, your miracles are the only witnesses to your reality that you can recognise.

『自分自身のために奇跡を成すことはできない。』奇跡は受け入れるという機会を与えたり、受け取ったりする一つの方法であるから。
You cannot perform a miracle for yourself, because miracles are a way of giving acceptance and receiving it.

時間においては与えることが先になるとはいえ、与えることと受け取ることを分離できない永遠においてはその両方が同時におこる。
In time the giving comes first, though they are simultaneous in eternity, where they cannot be separated.

両方とも同じことだとあなたが学んだ暁には、時間の必要性はなくなる。
When you have learned they are the same, the need for time is over.



永遠とは唯一の時であり、そこには「常にある」次元があるにすぎない。
Eternity is one time, its only dimension being 'always'.

これは、あなたが神は両手を広げて歓迎してくれることを思いだし、神の御心の広さが分かるようになってこそ、意味をなすはずだ。
This cannot mean anything to you until you remember God's open Arms, and finally know His open Mind.

その神に似て、あなたはまさに「常にある」もの。しかも神の御心のうちにいてそれに似た心をもっている。
Like Him, you are 'always'; in His Mind and with a mind like His.

偏見のないあなたの心のなかには自分の創造したものがあり、完全に理解することから生じた申し分のない意思の疎通をたもっている。
In your open mind are your creations, in perfect communication born of perfect understanding.

自分で創造したものを一つでも受け入ることができさえすれば、この世がどんなものを差し出してくれようと、そんなものを欲しいとは思わないだろう。
Could you but accept one of them you would not want anything the world has to offer. Everything else would be totally meaningless.

ほかのものはみな全く意味がなくなってしまう。神の意義はあなたなしでは不完全であり、あなたも自分が創造したものなくしては不完全だ。
God's meaning is incomplete without you, and you are incomplete without your creations.

この世においては自分のきょうだいを受け入れ、何一つ他のものを受け入れないことだ。なぜならそのきょうだいがあなたとともに創造したので、そのきょうだいのうちにこそ自分の創造したものを見いだすことになるからである。
Accept your brother in this world and accept nothing else, for in him you will find your creations because he created them with you.

あなたは自分のきょうだいがあなたの共同創造者だと分るようになるまで、自分が神の共同創造者だとは決してわからないだろう。
You will never know that you are co-creator with God until you learn that your brother is co-creator with you.
